Ten out of ten people die. This is a fact. No one will escape death. Have you ever thought about where you are headed to after you take your last breath? When I was in high school there were three of us who had no fear of death. Actually, we longed for it and we jokingly made a pact that whoever dies first will return to get those remaining. Death to those who are not born again, would be an inlet to all torment, and that to all eternity.1 I am thankful God did not take us seriously. I cringe at the thought that had I been unlucky in any of my near death driving experiences, I would be currently eternally in torment.

My goal is to hopefully lead you into understanding God’s perfect law and glorious grace which God has freely given us through Christ Jesus. To me, to be able to understand these two important things, the specific characteristics of God’s nature should be first laid out and grasped.
