When we were living In Kenmore, WA, we attended Cedar Park Northshore, which was just right across the street from our apartment. I loved this church and our pastors, Pastor David and his wife, Pastor Lyn.
We had two Sunday services. The worship of the earlier service was more traditional while the other was more contemporary. I attended the latter one (because the guitarist was cute. Har-har. Ok, ok, am just… semi-kidding?) which was led by Chris Richie. Anyway, the title of my favorite song by the worship team is “Holiness.” The one singing this song was a young lady with a sweet and solemn voice. I can’t attach the audio file here so I’m resorting to Youtube to solve my problem. I found the version by Sonicflood but I prefer the one from our church. Doesn’t matter. It’s the lyrics that counts.
The chorus goes:
So, take my heart and form it.
Take my mind and transform it.
Take my will and conform it.
To Yours, to Yours, oh, Lord.
This is my prayer that’s why I like this song so much! I wish we could sing it in Calvary Chapel South. [Plugging: National Day of Prayer on May 1 at 12nn to 1:30pm. Google the address. See you there!]
Here’s the vid!
